Consumption in the hospitality channel increased by more than 42% (estimate) in 2022, while the retail segment saw an estimated decline of 8%. In the first two months of 2022, our activities were still significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, but thereafter we saw a strong increase in sales volumes for our group, reaching the levels of the pre-COVID year 2019, primarily due to strong growth in France.
